How do you break in pionte shoes without using your feet or bending them with your hands?

I don't think not using your feet or hands is very effective at all. If you use force like a door or something, it could damage the shoe and there goes your money.

You should, it's super easy to break in pointes correctly.

Good Luck

you can try some of these other peoples suggestions but breaking them in with your feet would be betta but do wat you do!!
Reply:You need to be very careful when breaking in pointe shoes. I would not advise banging them against a wall or any surface for that matter. Pointe shoes are delicate and it is very easy to damage the shank or any other part of the shoe for that matter, which can cause injury in the long run. To break them in I would wear them and do exercises that require rolling through your foot in them. Try a plie, forched arch, releve combination, and reverse it. Nothing crazy.
Reply:You can try hitting them realllyyy hard on wood or the pavement!! hope this works!

God bless!!:DD
Reply:well, i start with releves, forced arches, then i start working on my demi pointe in the shoes. sometimes i'll even run around the room just in demi pointe, which looks really silly, but does work!
Reply:i reccomend you hit them against the pavement. it helps!
Reply:Hit them on a hard surface or with a hard object such as a hammer. I've actually never tried this before, but I hear it works. I usually don't break mine in. I just wear them and after a few hours they're great.
Reply:Put them on the stairs! Bend them then put the box part on the lower stair and bend the heal under the stair above! This works for me~
Reply:Dab a bit of water on the back heel and where the box meets the wings.
