What color of prom shoes should i use?

My gown is color red-orange/light gold


i don't know what color of shoes to wear!


i first opted for black because it goes with everything but i'm having second thoughts


should i wear black? gold? silver? or maybe blue for a contrast? HELP!!!

if you can find a good pair of gold shoes... i'd say go for that!!


blue shoes might draw attention from your gown..

Reply:I think you have many options. I think red sandal type heels would be nice as well as black or gold. I would not wear blue or silver for contrast. Have a great time at Prom.

Reply:Choose whichever color shows up the least in your gown and go with that. It will bring out that color more.
Reply:If your dress is long then opt for the black shoes. Look in fashion magazines. True black does go with everything, but how about red shoes? I learned that using a darker color the dress would bring out the rest of the colors more. Have you put the shoes on while wearing your dress? This will give you a better idea.
Reply:The gold shoes would bring out the gold in the dress. You should also accessorize with gold earings and gold eyeshadow. You will look like a movie star.

Reply:u should wear so reddish orange or even gold one well at lest they should have some of the same colors as ur dress

Reply:i would say gold, but you could also try like a chestnut brown cuz that would look good, without standing out as much as black would (and black would look kind of halloween-y by the way you describe your dress)
