In addition to killing snails in your garden for obvious reasons, if you were all dressed up, dress, high heels, etc and were walking along and saw a snail, would you go ahead and squash him to eliminate him from getting in your garden or someone elses?
For Women Gardners: Do you prefer to squash snails under your shoes or use poisons to kill them?

Reply:Squashing grosses me out and poison is an environmental nightmare. I prefer to pick them off and drop them into a container of soapy water, put a cover on the container and leave for a few days to make sure that they are dead and do not climb out. Then dump them into the compost heap. (Kind of a gross method, I admit)
If I am dressed up and ready to go out... hmmmm... I'm gonna put a hot date on hold to get rid of that snail! Those babies lay a lot of eggs and if I let it live, it would be the one that is ready to lay a new batch. That is just my luck!
Reply:salt...i use salt and think of them screaming as if i could hear them...i'm evil! i couldn't even step on a bug cuz that is too discusting especially the ones in the south and ppl from the south know which ones i'm talking about...the giant cockroaches or waterbugs...ewwww....makes me cringe...and then they fly at u as soon as u see them...i'm gonna be sick!

Reply:I'd squash it. I'm so sick of squirrels in my attic ruining things, ants in my house like everywhere, and stuff that attacks all the hard work I put into my yard. I used to be compassionate but now they just annoy me, ruin what I've done, and cost me money. So death to them all!!
Honestly, I really am a nice person!! It's just after years of having things like snails ruin my garden, I've had enough!!!

i can't squash any animals and i can't use poisons too because i have a dog and a cat and it can be dangerous
so i ask my gardener to take this job
