For women who work in office how long do use high hells shoes at office?

When in my office I usually wear flats, sometimes nothing cause feet are hidden under my desk anyway. If in meetings I wear heels that are 2 1/2 inches up to 3 1/2 inch heels. I keep high heels in my desk drawer all the time "just in case" someone comes in and I need to look a little more professional.
