Can a banana peelings be used as a shoe polisher?

You can use it for all sorts of leather, especially for patent leather: first clean the shoes, than rub it with the inside of banana peeling and than polish it well with a soft cloth, they will be shiny and elastic.

Reply:I think so. They have coloids, I think, which makes things smooth like polish. I don't know if they contain sugars which would get sticky and cloudy.
Reply:Yes, I've heard it so!!
