Very confused....man buys dirty women's shoes on ebay?

Okay, so I'm a pretty big seller on ebay, most of the stuff I sell are clothes %26amp; shoes. So a man asked me a question today asking if I had any used Christian Louboutin shoes for sale. Christian Louboutin is the designer with the red sole, his shoes are very pricey. I explained to him the shoes I had for sale %26amp; that they were only worn once or twice, but in clean/perfect condition. He then wrote back saying that he wanted shoes that were really really dirty, like with dirty footprints on them. I thought maybe he was buying them for this girlfriend %26amp; couldn't afford ones that were in new or good condition. I looked at items he has bought %26amp; all he does is buy women's dirty shoes....that's it! He paid $112.00 for a very disgusting dirty paif of flip flops. Is this some sort of fetish?

Yes it sounds like a "fetish" to me. Some people find some very unusual things sexual or obsessive. I had a friend once say he knew a guy that had a fetish for women with dimples around her knee caps. Weird for you and I, but a turn on or fetish for him. Most women have a fetish for shoes. It's not called a fetish because it's normal for women to buy women's shoes. Now take me, I buy women's shoes for myself to wear and I'm a guy. Weird "yes" but it's something I like, it's a fetish. There is also a huge fetish community for guys/people that like well wore shoes. Weird "yes" but it's something they like. I say as long as you are not hurting anyone, it's health to live out your fetish, weird as it may be to Joe public. If this guy makes you feel uncomfortable, don't sell to him. But it's likely just "another guy" with a strange fetish. He'll get the shoes and move on.


Oh and just for the record, I have a fetish for high heels with red soles, they are so cool. Fetishes aren't something people like to talk about because it's something out of the ordinary. You can either live your life for your friends and what makes them happy or live it for yourself and what makes you happy
Reply:Yes he has a foot fetish and lots of people on ebay are perfectly happy to cater to him and others. Run a search on "well worn" you will find shoes, socks and underwear. It got so bad that ebay had to implement the ebay standards, they will be cleaned prior to shipment.





The first time I'd even heard of this was when a friend of my sold his used underwear on ebay. I didn't understand why anyone would pay more for one pair used for what they could get 3 pair new. I was new to ebay and naive.

Reply:I was really amused by this question and wasn't going to answer, but it was really rather tempting. I've seen odd things - I've seen dirty underwear being sold, but ummm...that's sort of a known man fetish thing. I've also seen dirty socks being sold for way much more than what you would ever buy them for. And that's strange that you would pay $112 though. Are other weird-fetish people bidding against him? You have to wonder why he doesn't just head over to a thrift store and pick up some nasty shoes there.

Reply:Yes it's a fetish. I think he's a perv, or maybe some guy who thinks he's funny, or just a generic weirdo. Either way I see red flags waving and maybe you should think twice about this guy, especially if any part of these transactions makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
