How do I customize shoes?

I need directions on how to paint leather shoes, attach fabric to shoes, attach rhinestones, etc. Please list websites that are devoted to shoe customizing or *if you are a shoe customizer* you can list directions. :]

P.S. The main thing I want to do is sew fabric onto shoes...or use glue if that works. But I need to paint accents, too.

How do I customize shoes?
I would use Delta Ceramcoat for the painting. You can paint that right on the leather. The fabric is a lot trickier. Perhaps a contact cement like Duro. Sewing is next to impossible. Rhinestones and anything else probably superglue.
