in safeway, i saw it has 50 doller and 100$ gifts card. can i use these to buy shoes at finishline.com? because i dont have a credit card

My experience with American Express gift cards is that they have a very limited list of participating merchants. Americanexpress.com however says you can use them anywhere that American Express is accepted. You can also purchase Visa gift cards from certain stores, and I think these are more widely accepted just like a Visa debit card. If you go to Visa.com, then you can search locations where Visa gift cards are available for purchase to find one near you.
