It's one of those personal belongings that you really love but don't want to get rid of no matter how broken it is. So do you think I need a new one? I use this shoes for clamming and for just walking.

No, keep the shoes if that's what you want and they are special to you. Shoes are overrated, anyway - I don't think anyone cares that much whats on your feet (they usually look at your face not your feet).


Most people have way way too many shoes, I think - its great to know there are some females out there who are quite happy to wear old shoes and save their money.

Although you have worn your shoes well and they seem to have served their purpose, your feet need to be taken care of too! Like the saying goes, take care of your feet and they will take care of you. Those shoes deserve a proper burial.

You could whiten them to fix the discolouration, but as the the leather is split, you should really replace them.
