Is it okay to wear shoes designed for playing tennis for everyday activities? or will that ruin them faster?

the shoes that i am talking about are the Nike Air Max Breathe Cage Men's Shoe. should i use these shoes only for tennis?

Is it okay to wear shoes designed for playing tennis for everyday activities? or will that ruin them faster?
YES! Use these only for tennis, they're made esp. for tennis courts and their surfaces, not for rough and uneven rocky surfaces, i.e., jogging and hiking and just running around.

Look at the soles of the shoe... they're flatter and the heel is not high so there is more stability in the shoe for the tennis player.
Reply:If they are your favorite shoes for playing tennis I would keep them in your tennis bag and only put them on to play tennis. If they are shoes you would like to wear all the time...get a second pair and the fact that there are designed for tennis...well they will last just fine for normal everyday 'gettin around'. The ones you wear every day all day will break in and maybe also loose some support.

Many tournament players have specific clothes and equipment that they use for tournament play and different gear they use for practice.
Reply:the more you wear them, the faster it becomes comfertable
Reply:Most tennis shoes are multi-purpose shoes. Go ahead. Wear them all the time.
Reply:Just the simple fact that you asked this proves that your an azz kickin waitin ta happen
Reply:its ok where but it will ruin sooner
Reply:it will ruin the grip on the bottom of the shoe
Reply:That's why they're called tennis shoes and that's what they're for. If you want an everyday shoe, maybe get cross trainers.
